Transitional Leopard Print

Happy Friday Eve- thank goodness! We (almost) made it to the weekend! I wanted to jump on and share some new arrivals from a boutique that I have shared before and LOVE, Sugar Boutique. They literally have the trendiest styles and so much to pick from! I love that they carry all different price points in their boutique with the different brands they carry! I picked up a few new arrivals and I'm in love with them all! First off, had to pick up this gorgeous leopard dress! Leopard is my favorite print and I absolutely love the color of this one for transitioning into fall! I paired it with my favorite pair of ankle booties and a hat to top it off! I'm wearing a size medium in it. I also picked up the prettiest blue sweater! It has so many details with the quarter length sleeves and the v neck to it! Im wearing a medium in it as well! I also picked up the cutest snakeskin blouse to go perfectly with a pair of denim and booties! Snakeskin is another staple pattern in my closet- also in a medium! The last thing I picked up was a pair of THE comfiest pink leopard biker shorts! They are so so dang comfy- you'll thank me later! Perfect to throw an oversized tee or sweatshirt on for a super comfy look! Everything fits TTS and I absolutely love! Happy shopping! I hope you have the best day!

XO, Meg

My Nighttime Skin Care Routine and Struggles

Happy Tuesday! I am just getting back into the swing of things from a long weekend and a quickly planned (the night before) trip to Disney World last weekend. I just got back yesterday and don't worry, there will be a travel blog up later this week about all of my favorite things to do, eat, etc at Disney! I am going to be talking about my nighttime skincare routine and the products I use as of now! Throughout the years, I have really struggled with trying to get clear skin. I wouldn't say I was to the point of needing something as intense as Accutane, but it has been bad enough to bother me. I have always wished for soft, glowing skin! I have tried many different products to try and help and I won't say nothing has helped- I think it just comes and goes honestly. I think that because it comes and goes with every product I use! I will say- I think i may (hopefully) be finally growing out of it. It is not near as bad as it used to be but it is still there minimally. I am hoping maybe I am finally growing into my "adult" skin and that it is going to clear up. Last month, I began using Rodan + Fields unblemish system. The unblemish is strictly for acne and clearing up skin. I have loved it so far and am still testing out the results. It is a four-step process and it makes my skin feel clean and nourished. Here is my nighttime skin care routine.

1. Remove my makeup: I use these positively radiant makeup removing wipes from Aveeno. I love them because they have a good, fresh smell to them and they get all of my makeup off with no hassle. Your face already feels somewhat clean after using these!

2. Wash my face: I wash my face with this acne treatment sulfur wash from the Rodan + Fields Step 1 of the unblemish process. I love this purple face wash! It makes my skin feel so soft and clean after using it. You know that feeling that you feel like it's actually doing something? This gives me that feeling!

3. Apply clarifying toner: I use a cotton ball and apply this clarifying toner without washing it off which is Step 2 of the unblemish process. This toner seems to exfoliate my skin and helps get rid of the bad in my skin.

4. Apply acne treatment: I apply this dual acne treatment on my face without washing it off. This treatment helps with preventing new blemishes from popping up or forming. This is Step 3 of the unblemish process and the final acne treatment step.

5. Lotion: I finally apply the best step, lotion! I switch it up and use this Rodan + Fields lotion which is the last step of the unblemish process in the morning or the evenings after the unblemish process. I either use that lotion or this amazing face lotion that I have used for a year or so.

6. Lash Boost: After I finished cleaning my face thoroughly and I feel nice and clean and exfoliated, I apply this Rodan + Fields Lash Boost! I loveee this stuff! All you have to do is a quick brush across the top of your eyelid where the eyelashes meet your eyelid and that's all!

7. Face mask: I do a deep pore face mask twice a week during my nighttime skincare routine as well. I love this mask so much from Kiehl's. You only wear it for about ten minutes and it comes off easily with a warm rag. I love this mask because it makes my skin feel sooo exfoliated, refreshed, and soft! Another great option for an enhancement that is only 1-3x a week recommended and takes place of face wash is Rodan + Fields Micro=Dermabrasion Paste. This is a very grainy type paste that is like a scrub. It also makes your skin feel amazing and soft afterwards!

I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Stay tuned for Disney posts/ outfits later this week, XO!
